Creative Labs was selected by Pami (East Jerusalem Development Company) to create a unique augmented reality experience for the ramparts of the old city in Jerusalem. The concept was to allow different characters who have protected the walls throughout history to come to life and interact with visitors as they move along the historical ramparts. The current wall was built in the 16th century by order of the Ottoman Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, but symbolizes the dedication of all the city guards. Creative developed the concept, content and augmented reality application for the exhibit that allows visitors to interact personally with each of the guards and hear the unique stories from their perspective. This experience has delivered a new, dynamic way for visitors to engage with and learn about the old city ramparts in Jerusalem.
